To use it, you only have to pay for your meal with the Cobee card at any POS that accepts VISA cards.
Where can I use it?
You can consume in any hotel establishment that accepts VISA card (bars, restaurants, cafeterias, fast food, etc.) or in food delivery services (such as "Glovo" or "Just Eat").
To be exempt from personal income tax, the establishment where you buy your food must belong to the catering category. Therefore, there are establishments in which you will not be able to use this benefit:
- Supermarkets: it is not possible to make purchases in any supermarket as they do not belong to the restaurant market.
- Airports: Restaurants within an airport are most likely registered as part of the airport and not as stand-alone restaurants.
- Malls: Many malls, both open and closed, have restaurants. In some of these establishments, such as El Corte Inglés, these restaurants are linked as part of the center and not as independent restaurants.
What limitations does it have?
This benefit is income tax exempt. That is, you do not pay personal income tax for the money used in this benefit.
You have €220 each monthor€180 per month in Álava and Guipúzcoa.
Balance accumulation?
Each month, you have €220 exempt from personal income tax. When you consume less, you can reserve that balance on your card for future months.
